Can anyone recommend a good gym in Brighton?

Just moved down and want to join. LA Fitness is £50 a month which seems excessive to me, and you have to sign up for a year.

You have to sign up for a year in most gyms tubby.

Try riptide on the see front.

Before I had my bad back I paid £20 a month and I didn't have to sign up for any period of time!!

Corals is ok and fairly reasonable. You also get free entry to the dogs. Does mean going out to Hove though matey.

Try withdean stadium. I go there a couple of times a week. Its quite small but its ok.

dont want to rub anything in but up here in manc i pay £100 for a 9 month student gym membership-brand new gym too and if you want to use the pool facilities it £1.35 a shot-not bad really....

I pay £65 gym membership for the year and have free swimming pool sessions Not that i use it!
