Tim Henman is through to the Quarter Finals of the US Open after beating Nicolas Kiefer of Germany in 5 sets, Henman was winning 3-0 in the fifth, when Kiefer retired. It is the first time that Henman has reached the US Open Quarter Finals in his career, and is the first Brit since Ruseski in 1997 to get to that stage.
It is also Henmans birthday so happy birthday Tim.
