Disappointed but not surprised to see that there was no gong for our Warrior Captain today in the NY honours list today. Anti-Brighton bias?; anti-Scotland bias? Or just an oversight? We will probably never know.

In my book he deserves a knighthood; with Greer captaining our team, 2012 holds no fears for me. The guy is as reliable as Glasweigan rain; he's never injured; is not driven by personal glory and always plays for the team.

In my book, Greer is our most prized player. A Happy Hogmany going out to our braveheart skipper...SEAGULLS!

The queen took a dislike to to the fact he never wins headers. This is the reason he didnt get named in the new years honours list.
