It's a damp and grey City that greets me this morning, but with only 4 (four, count 'em) days until the season kicks off, my spirits are anything other than dampened.

Sun out in Eastbourne and just over 4days 6 hours till the start of the season. I cannot wait.

Not prepared to acknowledge the football season until the cricket is over. Normally its only about 2 weeks I don't acknowledge but as always the football starts earlier and earlier !!
