Good Luck John Kerry

With the first US Presidential debate a few hours away, this is the opportunity to wish Senator Kerry the best of luck in the debate with the most appalling leader in US history.

I'm sure Kerry reads NSC, so it's important to let him know

I agree Bush is a complete first class to$$er, time for a change

Yes, I'm looking forward to this more than the Superbowl, got the beers in and will be yelling on the blues (states).

I agree with Stumpy. Just think how much more confident Kerry's going to be knowing he has the backing of NSC. Well, some of it. Expect to see those war record jibes swatted aside.

We should have one of these over here. Probably have to let Kennedy in on it out of sympathy, he'll only sulk in the corner/chug a bottle of whiskey if he can't play too.

YEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kerry TROUNCED Bush!!!!!!!!

Watched it all on Fox News and even those rightwing shitbags from the Weekly Standard Barnes and Kristol admit Kerry did well and Bush failed to make the case for war.

Now let's hope enough Americans were f***ing awake to see what happened.

At the end of the debate I was suddenly seven years old again watching Luke fly down that trench to blow up the Death Star!!!!!

Absolutely LI. The BBC site says it was quite even, so I don't know what debate they were watching. Bush was getting obviously annoyed by the criticism Kerry gave him & he really couldn't take it. This has got to be a turning point for Kerry - let's bloody hope so!

Living in the States, I have often felt frustrated that Kerry held his punches so weedily, and never landed them on the exposed jaw of the puny george 'w'.
I really hope he's been saving up for this round, and gives that monkey-boy a good smacking.

ANYONE is better than bush

Much like he did when it mattered for the Democratic nomination, Kerry was non-stop in his criticism for Bush. I thought he looked more of a statesman than Bush. All Bush could do was say Kerry changes his mind, and that Iraq is hard work. He had no answers to proper arguments

I wish I had seen it. The reports on the BBC was that it was even, with Bush landing the telling blow about Kerry changing his mind.

Do many Americans watch it, ot do they just see or hear the highlights ?

I couldn't care less about American politics. Having seen some of the debate, there was no clear cut winner.

Can somebody explain what Kerry is going to do any differently from Bush??

Hopefully not invade random countries for one thing. And hopefully (though I won't count on it) he won't pander to the upper-middle classes and big business quite as much as Dubya does.
