More public inquiry. More delay. More buck-passing.

Please no one try and tell me this is good news. The BBC report on this talks about looking at other possible sites again Shoreham, Sheepcote Valley, Waterhall...blah, blah, blah. We've heard it all before.

Prescott has produced a typical politician's fudge - trying to shuffle the "decision" onto someone else "You prove there's another site that's suitable."

The way I feel now (after what feels like 20 years of this crap) is fecking angry.

I've said it before but I'll say it again. Now is the time to form a Seagulls political party and force this issue - or we'll die of old age and bureaucraticitis.

Would you rather he had said Yes now and we faced a Judicial Review? As I understand it, both Inspectors said no and yet Prescott still gives a conditional yes. Put your political views aside and look at it logically.

Fair do's to Prescott, he has overruled, but does not want a judicial review. I beleive this decision is in the best interests of the club.

Go and read Lord Bracknell's explanation of the situation.

I have read it and I'm grateful for it. But I don't entirely agree.

My understanding is that Prescott has NOT said Yes to Falmer.
The inspector produced a report which recommended No. But Prescott has not accepted this.

However, if you read the small print, it says he has yet to form an opinion on the inspector's report. In other words, he's stalling.
