What was that goal celebration about, where the players stand in a circle and lift up their right leg as if to look at their right boot? Best example was McPhee's second, but they tried it his first as well I think.
Anyone?

Something to do with the gay cardboard cut outs on the East mound

I went to my first Withdean game in a long time, as a regular away traveller, I had forgotton how bad the atmosphere is at Withdean, when the whole ground sings it is great, but in general the atmosphere is poor. I know this has probably been said before, but just had to get it off my chest.

Couldn't quite see the cardboard cut outs through the hammer net, apart from the outlines.

What the hell were they about? Are they like Arsenal's former mural, to make Withdean look more crowded?

:lolol:

I think they are part of some advertising campaign - dunno what for precisely.

They look a bit like Soldiers with bayonets - "ooh they don't like it 'em"

Clearly the players are as bemused as the fans - hence the piss-take
