Cant see a mention in a search, but anyone else go on Saturday? :rave:

Pushed as a classy 'house music day festival in the sun' it was too packed early on, but thinned out just enough for a banging last 3-4 hours.

On the bill was Norman Jay (No show, got his nephew?!) Danny Rampling ( No show..) BUT did get Soul to Soul live act (pretty good) Jon Pleased Wimmin (brilliant) Mark Knight (very good) and Roger Sanchez (also brilliant)

As a non-resident of Brighton, we stayed over at the Stirling Arms in Hove (very good), beers before and after (today) at Fortune of War with very decent brekkie at Modello (Sp?) Lounge.

Quality day out, and would def do again next year. Completely bushed out now..😩🤣

Standing in the way of control
It was absolutely ok.

Roger Sanchez can surely do better than farting out a bunch of Fatboy Slim tracks and stuff from 25 years ago. But I know that's what people wanted to hear.

Mark Knight was even more dull. JPW was better. Soul II Soul were good. The average age of the audience meant people were enjoying it rather than filiming every second. The sky over the lawns was excellent.

It didn't feel like much care had been put in. Wheeling out the same dancers for various acts seemed tacky and unimaginative. There was one Brighton stall (the mighty Shaboutique). There were the usual petty money-making irritations (not being able to get water unless you paid at the bars, not being allowed out and back).
