what annoys me most about reading the related Murray to palace thread is peoples reaction to him, the night after we seal promotion, a game in which he scored in, a pretty slap stick story is put up on sky sports news about Murray leaving, nothing is confirmed by player or club but people are immediatley on Murrays back as if the twaddle on ssn is gospel. Those of you who dismiss our top scorer and targetman as 'easily replacable' may want to wait until he actually leaves before you start with your bullshit comments about him, IF he stays i think he will excell in the championship playing alongside an out and out, pacey goal scorer, he has been top class all season and deserves the backing of the fans. No problem with with the Murray bashing if he sells out for more money, but until then he is still one of our own, our top scorer and a very important player who after this season deserves more than some of you are giving him!

Good thread. All this talk of players going for better pay. One hopes that the club will now be in a position to offer better deals now that we are a championship club. Poyet and Bloom will not be held to ransom by players holding out for silly wages and the players realise this. Lets enjoy the rest of the season.
