Nice thought Dannyboy and one I have been encouraging for the last year. Unfortunately we have as a whole shown Coppell no passion and pride in him whatsoever since he has been there. We have stubbornly refused to sing , Steve Coppell's Blue & White Army because of his ties with Palace.

Lots of people didn;t want him becuse of this and it will be too late on Saturday to change that.

Another case of not realising what you have until its gone and some people need to grow up.

What we sang to him won't have made an ounce of difference to his decision, but he has deserved more vocal backing than he's got.

I suspect Coppell will have decided in his own mind by now and we will find out what that decision is tomorrow.

If he's off I would LOVE it if we won on Saturday and went top, I'm definitely up for Staurday whatever happens...

Well if he's going to go, the least we can do is spend 90 minutes singing about what an arse of a place Reading is.

Read-ing is a pile of shit
Read-ing is a pile of shit etc

Immensely childish, but satisfying nonetheless.

Leicester certainly appeared to hang on to O'Neill for a bit longer after a massive show of their support on a Monday night game.

Let's do the same for SC.

No mate, dont. What if he's still pondering his decision. The level of support he may or may not get from the fans may influence his decision.

We all like to believe that our cheering, singing and support makes a difference to events at our club, but it's a situation such as this that I really believe may just make the difference.

CHEER HIM ON, make him feel wanted.

So after that sort of abuse he will definitely go, Hinsh gets his old job back and we fall to mid table obscurity.

I trust you will be proud of yourself Watsongoal.

I'll cheer him anyway, he's been good for this club and much as I hate Reading and the way they f*** us over I couldn't chant abuse at him.

Do you honestly think 6000 fans in an athletics track singing his name will make him stay? Remeber Steve Sidwell, at Coventry his name was chanted virtually the whole game, he still went.

He will be offered probably double the salary, in one of the best Stadiums in the country with a team who are pushing for promotion to the premisership.

As for Hinsh and mid table obscurity, I dont think so. Knight will have learnt his lesson by now.

Why people want to sing the name of soneone willing to walk out of the albion is beyond me.

But hey its my opinion

I dont think his the reception Coppell gets will sway his decision at all ala Sidwell at Coventry last year. Just wish he would stay
