How come they have to pay 22.50 for tickets and we get off with a tenner? They'll not bring 900. Bit naughty, can't stand it when other clubs do that and wouldn't blame any of them for going in the home end(s)

We are allowed to do it for (I believe) up to 5 games a season. Makes sense really, Gillingham aren't going to attract many fans and bringing the prices down may get more bums on seats.

Normally I'd agree with you - it does seem harsh.
However, due to that robbing bastard Scally's antics, I fuckin hate Gillingham, so sod them.*

*Scally's actions are obviously not their fault [the fans] but there you go. Tough shit.

It's to allow for the parking charge for their caravans.

I think this differential pricing happens with many clubs when they're running special offers etc and there've been a number of posts recently citing this where we've been the away team (Sheff Utd a few years back?).
Anyway Gillingham can afford it now they're guaranteed promotion.

The Gills are currently 19th in League One but Scally told his club's website: "We'll get promoted - I have thought that all season.
