I do not believe in ghosts but I have had experiences I cannot explain.

Like, I was stood outside my house, then in Balsall Heath Birmingham, it was late night, I looked one way and there was this person walking towards me dressed inappropriately for the outside, dressing gown slippers and hair done up in a towel. They smiled apparently at me.

I looked the other way a second looked back and they were gone, they had not passed me and all the houses in the direction they were walking were derelict. The first occupied house was mine.

Where did they go? Where did they come from? can anyone explain what was going on.

Alzheimer's patient? They're always wondering off....

"They smiled apparently at me" did they Marvin? That would be it then, it was an apparition.....:nono:

I don't know about ghosts having never seen one, but I do love Most Haunted, some things on there have to be seen to be believed. Other than Evette Fielding and Derek Acorah's dress sense that is.

sense that is.

That would be why I looked the other way for a second make sure it was not someone else I had not seen.

I'm a believer (sung in true Monkees style) but never seen one myself, so sort of 99.9% sure they exists...or not depending on which way you look at it :D

My mates have seen one, I wanna too!

I can definitely recommend the book "Brighton Ghosts, Hove Hauntings".

It's one thing to hear supposedly-true ghosts stories about stately homes, quite a different, more scary thing to hear them about Edward Street, or even pubs in the next road to in which you were drinking the night before.

I'm the world's greatest cynic about spiritual matters but this book in capable of giving you what is technically known as a "judder", as the ad says.

I might change my username to "Swan Gervaise".
