This thread applies particularly to the Great Cornholio and his photo's from WHL.
Were you one the Albion fans sitting in one of the ex boxes
or the main stand?
It's almost impossible to get a camera no matter how small into
a Premiership stadium.
Another of their bloody rules.
Copyright or something, like a kid with a small camera is going to sell the pictures to a newspaper or something.
In Europe they let you take photo's at the stadium.
Not all grounds abroad have running tracks around them so your
miles away.
Places like Bilbao and Sampdoria both of which I've been are tight stadiums.:goal:

It's not a premiership rule, its a football licensing one and applies to every league ground in the country.

Didn't even think about it to be honest. It was just inside my coat pcoket. I was in the first row of the Upper Tier right by the corner flag.

My camera was in my bag, which the stewards searched. They didn't seem bothered.

Same here. I quite often take my digital camera in my handbag which is searched. I've never been asked not to take pictures or even had a comment on it.

How can grounds ban cameras when most mobiles have cameras?
Are they going to start confiscating mobiles as you arrive?

I bought a disposable camera at Cardiff *off the club vans*. (I left my digital in the car in Dublin  )

Bag got searching. No problems with it

And this was at one of the matches where I remember the NO CAMERAS signs being huge compared to normal.

I took my camcorder into WHL and used it before the game and at the end. The decent steward at the front in the West stand said to me "You won't use that during the game will you? Please!" and left it at that.

Always take a camera into Withdean and most other grounds...never a problem-just not allowed to take pictures (technically) of the game itself.
