You can purchase a train ticket called a Foursight (which is four seats) from St Pancras to Nottingham for £40 quid return, providing the four of you travel together, thats an amazing £10 each return. Be quick though, as spaces are limited, I beleive the rail operator to be Midland Mainline

Midland Mainline are quality for deals like that. Last season four of us got to Leicester and back for less than £13 each, and that was going up on the Friday and returning on the Monday.
