Looking forward to this one. No offence to the likes of Bulgaria and Sweden, who produced an excellent game last night, but matches like Germany v Holland are what the tournament's all about surely.

Shame Rijkaard isn't still the Dutch manager, would have been great to see him meet up with Rudi Voller again. Would he have have spat into his palm before shaking hands, is the question?

Germany aren't the force they used to be, but it's still traditional to want to see them lose, so here's hoping for an Oranje win tonight. Come on Holland.

yep its one of those gorup glamour ties like Eng v Fra & Por v Spa. BUT saying that I can see it turning into a 0-0 bore draw! If ya want goals then I'm sure that the Czechs will put 2 or 3 past Latvia at 5pm

That was the funniest thing I've ever seen on a football pitch. Voeller and Rijkaard niggling all game and then Voeller basically got sent off because Rijkaard gobbed a massive greener in his perm. Voeller hadn't even reacted to it and still got his marching orders. Pure comedy.

Deutschland Deutschland ueber alles

The biggest game in the tournament so far, England v France aside. Indeed a shame that Rijkaard isn't around to renew his "spat" with Rudi - they'd be giving out umbrellas in the dugouts for that one.

I'm expecting a cynical German performance with at least three spectacular "I've been shot" triple or quadruple rolls on the ground from the Germans.

There's a classic in the German Bild newspaper. A story that says the Dutch secret weapon is horsemeat. ..complete with pic of Ruud Van Nistelrooy biting into Dobbin (insert own joke here).

Ich denke dass, die Holland Fußballmannschaft winnen wollen!! Aber es wollte auch gut sein, wenn die Deutche gewonnen hat, weil es gut fur mich ist, um mein Deutche Lehrerin glücklich zu sein!!
