One of the joys of my garden, in which I have a lot of rotting wood, is that it encourages various fungi. I think this is a species of Parasola mushroom. It's beautiful.

Another phone pic. A while back at Buttercups Goat Sanctuary.

The weird optical illusion of this fella having no back legs was not intentional.

I read the genius Coprinus has been changed to Parasola.
Yes, it did change, but I thought you wrote parasol, which was part of the lepiota family.

To be honest, I get really confused with the name changes, and the whole Keep Pond Clean Or Froggy Gets Sick ordering, lol.

All I know is that that mushroom resembles an ink cap and not a parasol.

I am not any kind of expert on fungi. I just like them. However the info I read says the two genus' (apparently not all Coprinus were reclassified) both have species which are classes as inkcaps. However regarding the one I pictured, you definitely have a better idea than me!

I'm no expert either. I've just gone mushrooming for years and built up a little bank of groups in my head that I can roughly identify. I regularly use a mix of the Latin with common names, too, so in all honesty I likely don't have a better idea than you, lol.
