Not sure how true this is but a Palace-supporting colleague of mine has informed me that we have signed 16 yr old Bradley Barry. He is apparently her cousin's son and she said he very good although wasn't sure what position he plays. If he is anything like his uncle one for the future hopefully. Can anyone confirm/deny?

Yep, signed on for a 2-year scholarship in the summer.

He definatly plays for us, remember reading in either the tottenham or doncaster programme in the youth section that he'd signed, and cant remember where he plays, lets hope he follows in the footsteps of his uncle eh? thats going on to play for england not leaving us at 17!

And I'm guessing that, true to BHA form, once he's broken into the first team and has proved to be a fantastic prospect we'll be selling him to the first club that offers anything over 35p for his services - Man City, Norwich City or whoever - and we'll include a negligible sell on clause in the deal, something like 4% I should imagine.

agreed although i'd take Gareth back at Brighton don't get me wrong! i'm not saying he isn't a good footballer he's just not international class IMO! dicker reminds me of barry. bit slow and sluggish, gets caught on the ball but every now and then hits a brilliant pass!

He plays in centre midfield at the moment, good player, in his first year of his scholarship (which i believe will now be a three year scholarship as rules have changed).

the under 18s are currently top of their league as well. good stuff.

Been at the clubs for a few years now I think, was a few years below me at School...
Anyone who's seen him would definitely see a resemblance.
