If say Mitoma had rolled around in agony, like when Kane snapped his eyelash a few days ago, a longer injury break should in theory have meant more time for VAR to keep checking

And if he had gone down when that other bloke tried to take him out with both feet on the touchline - that would have been looked at properly as well.
