Good ... he always scores against us !

Hartlepool United's veteran striker Marco Gabbiadini has retired from professional football.
The 36-year-old has been beset by injuries this season, particularly on his knee, and has called it a day after 19 years in the game.

Gabbiadini represented 11 clubs in his illustrious career, enjoying fruitful spells at Sunderland and Derby.

He scored 273 goals and cost clubs just under £3m in transfer fees. He netted seven times for Pool this term.

And in traditional Albion fashion, we got his rubbish brother. At least he hardly played a game for us.

(That's not a dig at Deano, by the way - I'd take him over his overrated smug slaphead brother any day. Thinking more along the lines of Fashanu.)
