Right wanted my 1000th post to be a post that would be remembered, so have come up with an idea to raise a bit of cash for the Alive and Kicking fund.
The idea is that I will have my legs WAXED. I am not 100% sure of how to go about this but would need someone who as works in this line or knows someone who works in this line to do it.
Once I know that there is someone on hand who is a professional, we will try and find some where that will let us have a room for free, (upstairs at the Prince Albert maybe?) and set a date.
Once that is arranged I will post on here and ask insider if it can be put in the programe. Am not 100% sure how I will go about getting sponsers so any ideas on this front are welcome.
We can post / take before and after pictures to prove that it was done etc. The small twist in this idea is that people that come along to the event, for a small fee will be able to tear off a strip.
Is this a good idea? Am i just being stupid? Please vote so i can get some idea of what others think, and if you are able to help in anyway, be it by taking the pictures, collecting money on the night, or just with ideas, then please post and let me know.
