Never a red card though. It wasn't a frutos like thing to do - I think the frustration of being totally out of form is getting to him. :nono:

Eh? Where were you sitting? It was a clear red. He was never going to wn the header so he went for the player. Stupid.

Though the red was contestable, you don't jump with your arms down and I've seen a lot worse this season go unpunished. The fact it was in front of the dug-outs didn't help him, and the Balckpool players reaction. However Hammond was lucky to get away with the over the top tackle later, which was violent conduct....

Agree about Hammond, had the ref of seen it I reckon he'd of been off, as it was they didnt even get a free kick.

no way was it a red, he had his eyes on the ball and put his arm to defend himself a yellow at worse. In no way did he attempt to hurt the other bloke, hopefully we will appeal.
Feel sorry for Frutos seems to have lost all confidence that was shown when he first came to the club

dont matter
He's been a totally different player this season(absolute toilet) and to think we gave him a new 2yr contract to stop him walking out on a free. Doh!

but fair. It was never a red. He went for the ball, he jumped, same as every player does a dozen times each game. Except Williams, who doesn't seem to jump at all.

I was directly in front of it. He had no chance of winning the ball, he was jumping into the player. Leading with his elbow. This was not a case of using your arms to jump.

he lead with his elbow and clouted the Blackpool player in the side of the head. Red without a doubt
