Tch. I thought this was going to mean the BBC knocking the licence fee on the head for a year.

so actually it means, if you buy a telly from them and Murray wins, you get to have a load of other goods for free.

it's a moo point - Roddick is going to destroy him in the semis..

Don't be silly. Murray dismantled Roddick's game at Wimbledon in 2006, winning in straight sets. Roddick was then ranked number 5, Murray had started the year ranked 64 (and ended it at 17). Murray is a better player than he was three years ago.

Murray will win, although I will be a little nervous if it is played under the roof.

Don't know what the price on him on betfair is (websensed) but if you need lecce equipment round the house could be a way of saving money either way.

Say you wanted a £600 TV and Murray is even money for arguments sake (he will be longer than evens I'd imagine).

Buy the TV. Lay Murray off on betfair for £300 to lose.

If Murray wins another £600 to spend on the website (but you lose £300 cash though)
If Murray loses TV would only cost you £300. (£300 or thereabouts winnings in betfair account)

Whatever way you look at it, it's a brilliant deal, especially as there's only 4 men left.

I see they've said they reserve the right to pull the offer at any time.

This reminds me of the "buy a hoover and fly to the States" debacle. You can just see Sean Lock and Jason Mansford having fun with this story having gone wrong on 8 Out Of 10 Cats in a week's time.

apparently purchases made until the beginning of the final are included within the offer, so there is no point risking it yet!!

surely money to be made if he beats Roddick!!??
