Don't know why they are offering this deal, but if you have the Sky Sports World package for £33 a month they will give you Sky Movies 2,4,6 and 8 for free. They are not publicising the deal, but if you call 0870 240 4040 they honour the deal.

I tried it this morning and it worked!

For how long though. My guess, enough time to entice you into continuing the package at the full rate after say 2-3 months.

Nothing in life is free !!

You old cynic Marvin. If they stop the offer you can always go back to watching episodes of 'The Office' on DVD

Actually marvin did not say anything!

El pre if you stop drooling over Dawn for a minute you will notice that although Manx seagull starts with an ma the third letter is a n, not a r.

I've had a similar package for the last year now costing £33.

I phoned them up last year to get rid of Sky (via Satellite), as soon as the warranty's up on the digibox it seems to stop working and I end up paying £60 odd quid to get them to fix it.
This has happened each year for the last 4 years !

I was going to then switch to NTL (even though more expensive) because they promised to repair or replace any faulty box within 48hrs free.

Then when I phoned Sky to cancel my subscription they offered me ALL the movie channels and a three year warranty free - to stay with them.

Just shows what you can get if you are prepared to ask.

Apologies Marv, I think it is true what they say about watching too much pornography after all!

Well I'm still paying £38 a month for the works through my digibox, for sports and movies. El Pres, I feel it only fair if we split the £5 difference, being as it appears I am now subsidising your viewing.

I shall PM you my bank details, and would be grateful if you could set up a standing order for £2.50 per month from the end of Feb. Then everyones happy.

Easy, I presume you have all the movie channels, whereas this deal only entitles me to Sky Movies 2,4,6 and 8. This means that I do not get to savour the delights of Ernest Saves Christmas, Under Siege 7 in SeaWorld, and The Muppets v WonderWoman. The extra £5 you pay each month is I am sure worth it for these gems, although no doubt you need the extra money to save up for your reversible Thierry Henry and Paul Kitson poster in your bedroom

Good lad. I presume you watched I'm a Celebrity for the last 90 minutes, hats off to our Katie, though I get the impression that she is no stranger to having wiggly things spurting in her mouth
