Just watched it. Fraser clearly deliberately puts his studs into the small of the goalie's back when he could easily have avoided him. Fraser's leg has to go back to do it. Hate to say it, but a fair enough decision by the ref and there is no point in even appealing. Yellow might have been enough for some refs but I can also understand the red.

Blatant!!

It was just the sort of thing that would wind up the crowd, and can u imagine if a visiting player did that?!

Granted it was more petty than viscious, but the intent was there, and he deserved to go for that.

I watched it several times and couldn't see anything wrong with it to be honest. Just looked like he jumped over the keeper to avoid him (as he was running at full speed).

How you could purposely STAMP on someone when you're at full speed is beyond me:glare:

not according to the Brizzle City keeper. Even he doesn't think it warranted a red.

Riley was crap on Saturday. End of.

I really don't think Fraser would have reacted in the way he did had he actually done anything. The way Basso rolled around like a twattwattwattwat did him no favours either.

There was a deliberate downward motion of the foot. If that's what the ref saw then he had no option but to show the red. It doesn't matter how hard the contact was (look at Beckham against the Argies) it just needs to have been made.
