I think Marvin you're spot on. MK may be the largest conurbation without a league football club, but it's also the largest without an ASDA superstore. The proposed Denbigh stadium is could easily be mistaken for a huge supermarket (that would be unlikely to get planning permission on its own, as there is no shortage of huge supermarkets in MK) with a stadium tacked onto the side. Which would probably convert easily into a car park or aToys R Us or something when franchise inevitably go out of business.
