'Relief as Forster gets the all clear from The Argus' I would sooner he got it from a doctor/surgeon than Andy Naylor. Nonethe less it is brilliant news and if we win tomorrow no need to rush him back for next week perhaps bring him on with 2 mins to go to get the applause for his contribution this season.

There was never any suggestion of rushing him back for next week. He's miles off that.

Although the comments are true of Murray.

I was thinking more of a token walk on and stand out on the left wing just to actually be on the field if or when we celebrate staying up. Last season we were denied the opportunity of doing that for Guy Butters.

Lol. He can just be at the ground like everyone else, besides who would you bring off? The current first 11 are the ones responsible for keeping us up.

His goals in the early part of the season havent contributed towards us staying up, if indeed we do, and his injury hasnt contributed to us being in this state in the first place.

I would love Forster to be given recognition for his superb performances this season. I think if we can get Forster here for the long haul, with coaching perhaps in season after next, our future is very bright!

Smashing stuff! I was really starting to fear the worst for Fozzie's future, but it looks like he'll be full o' beans come the new season (deadly training pitch notwithstanding).

This can't possibly be true, the Argus must be talking bollocks again.

last week we heard from a Brizzle Rovers scout that he may never play again. i read that on NSC so it must be true

Lol, Read the story
Nicky Forster has given Albion an injury boost.

The skipper and top scorer does not require knee surgery after all and will be back for the start of next season.

Forster has not played since damaging his right knee in a training ground accident at the end of March.

It was feared he had ruptured a cruciate ligament, which would have ruled him out for seven months.

The 35-year-old striker was due to undergo exploratory surgery today but, after visiting a specialist in London, it has been decided an operation is no longer necessary.

Forster has suffered less serious medial ligament damage, which will sideline him from the remaining two games.

The 15-goal marksman has resumed light training and will be fit for pre-season.

Who would i trust some one spouting crap about him never playing again Or specialist
