I know everybody loves to slag it off but I for one am really starting to love the place.

Has any other team ever had a luckier stadium - 3 promotions in 5 seasons at our temporary home is amazing!

Obviously Falmer is gonna be 100 x better but for now there is not a more perfect venue for a team in our position. Its like a secret weapon that the other teams in Div 1 who are likely to stuggle (being realistic) haven't got.

The big guns are gonna hate coming here and if we can make it a fortress from August we have a bloody good chance of a mid-table finish.

So, until Falmer is built I say lets enjoy our love-affair with Withdean - 3 trophies and counting!

Look at the way we finished that season Ernest - hopefully your heroe Dick Knight won't make the same mistakes as last time. we've already got a decent manager in place so thats a damn good start!

but only 2 of them preston and wimbledon were after xmas the others were mainly when we were an inexperienced div 1 team withan inexperienced manager this time we've got a quality man in charge who knows wat he is doing and a season of div 1 experience
