Former Albion loanee Jesse Lingard has been called into the England squad ahead of Tuesday's game against France.
The 22-year-old Manchester United forward joined the squad today after two players were forced out through injury.
Lingard's Old Trafford team-mate Michael Carrick was carried off in the last minute of England's 2-0 defeat to Spain on Friday.
Carrick has returned to his club and will not be available for England's final game of the year.
He made his debut at under-21 level as a substitute against Scotland when Hodgson took charge of the team in August 2013.
Lingard played for Albion under Oscar Garcia in the final ten weeks of the 2013-14 campaign, scoring in the play-off semi-final at home to Derby and totalling 17 appearances and four goals.
