Scott, you sound remarkably like the Cambridge fan i spoke to at the start of the season a couple of years ago who confidently predicted that Cambridge would finish above the Albion and that Zamora was overated.
At the end of the season oh how we smirked when the Albion finished as champions and Cambridge finished rock bottom, Oh and Bobby Z was top goal scorer!!
I fear you will go the same way, whilst I don't think Vale are bad enough to go down I think they have overachieved to date, the facts speak for themselves -:
You have only played 3 out of the other teams in the top 10 so far this season and lost 2 and won 1 out of those - big deal !! The rest of your points this season have been against teams in the lower reaches of the table.
The Albion on the other hand have played 6 out of the top 10 so far this season winning 4 and drawing 2, in other words no team in the top 10 has beaten us! Those wins include the only team to have beaten QPR this season and a win against title favourites Sheff Weds.
I think you're getting the picture now mate, stop getting all over excited just because you peaked too soon. Enjoy the rest of your season in mid-table obscurity.

Albion: Won 5 Draw 1 Lost 0 For 12 Against 1 Pts 16
