Loving it at the moment. Right before my eyes I am seeing the resurgence of this "great" brand. More and more everyday going to work on the district line (through sloane square and South Kensington) I am seeing women with The burberry print handbag and scarves, it's astonishing...and the reason....inverted snobbery!! I may be reading too much into this but the willingness of the middle and lower middle classes to brush off a very distinctive, very traditional and bourgeiouse name has led many in the richer climbs to dig out this stuff again I believe. Pure comedy, look out for it.

....as for Burberry Prorsum:eek: that stuff is the boom, one of the best autumn/winter collections this year. Very Pricey though.

The cut of those trousers is appalling. You can see them creasing as she is walking.
The top only fits where it touches.

She looks scruffy

I am glad that I cannot afford to follow style then.

I haven't ever had enough money to follow fashion.

I've always had to stick to classics. At least they look smart.

Each to their own, some Burberry stuff is classics like their jackets - same design year after year and still popular.

Not too sure I'd look that good in all of it though !

I think many have missed the original point of the thread.

it was more a social observation.
