Footballers Today?

What is wrong with them? ive heard so many different articles in newspapers about drug abuse, rapes, gang bangs, roasting (where footballers pray on young girls and use them for sex and then pass them on to their other football buddies)

Is it a case of too much money, stardom staus too early that they feel there above the law?

Its all a far cry from the times of bobby moore.

Its all a very disturbing example to set for the younger generation.

I think its always existed in some form or other - its just that the press used to think peoples personal life (especially football gods) was to a certain extent out of bounds.... now anything is front page news - the dirtier the better....

Graham Taylor hit the nail on the head on the news last night when he was talking about young men with ludicrous amounts of money going out into the big wide world thinking nobody can touch them.

The need to be told that they have to be responsible for their actions. They should be severely punished for stepping out of line so that thay know not to do it again otherwise this will keep going on.

If they have the threat that thier careers could end through what they do they should calm down.

Nowadays they have lots of money and fame, which they didn't have in the past. A whole world of opportunities lay at their feet, and they seem to take the mick a bit.

Well if i was a multi-millionaire footballer i'd fvck about too.I'm a footballer and i didn't ask to be put up as an example to young people.

Plenty of Businessmen do as well as footballers financially and they are not held responsible for their drinking/strip club lifestyles.
The questions should be asked in a media that sensationalises rubbish.

There are also more big names with more players known to the public. Go back a few years and you wouldn't be able to name more than 5 players from every team, now you can probable name 15-20

and its nearly always permiership teams and generally the top teams, and some of these players represent our country, and they say the fans give us a bad name , maybe it the players.
