What are the laws on football logos and names are they copyrighted.
If I was to lets say for example make a beer mat:

1 with the logo
1 with the name
1 with both

The logo is copyrighted.

The name should be fine on its own but with the logo would be infringing copyright law AFAIK.

Because it had been revised so many times, it was not eligible for copyrighting.

REMF uses the old seagull in its logo. That was/is with the permission of the Club.
