Okay guys, gonna start my first season with Brighton tomorrow in the game. I have played several times with Brighton in FM, and after the second patch it got really hard to win. :)

sometimes I can play 15 games without a win and maybe score 3 goals :p

So I need some recommendation for Players that I can get for free or bargain players.... or players that I can loan.

Cullip and Currie is not in the squad and I have add around 500.000 pund....

Christopher Ohen - free. Scored 35 goals for me in the first season.
Alan Blaney - loan. Pretty good keeper.
Tony Dinning - cheap. Good midfielder.

They kept me up in the first season and are still in the squad in my 3rd.

Around November time, look out for Alex Aguinaga, can get him for about £30k. Got an average rating of 7.8 for me in the first season.

I've got Blayney and Dinning ... good signings. Also Ben Burgess becoming a bit of a star up front, Paul Parry absolute mustard on the left wing, Wade Elliott good on the right, and Paolo Vernazza constantly scores blooters from midfield. Pushing for promotion after relegation in my first season.

The free state of Kemp Town
I am Exeter in my game as I started jobless.

Bargains of the season for me were 19 year old winger Matty Warner who came on a free and is a constant high rating winner and provides many assists. And 35 former Dutch international Regi Blinker who, despite his age, is an absolute maestro in the middle of the park, getting involved in every attack.

I don't know how these guys would cope at Championship level but they are both free so it wouldn't hurt to give them a go.

Without them I wouldn't be enjoying my tenure as Exeter manager at all!

Blinker isn't good enough for Brighton, I checked him out. I do need a winger or two though.

Have you managed to re-sign Leon yet? He was on 7k and I couldnt offer him enough to sign a new contract, then iin the summer when it ran out he only wanted 5k, which I could offer! I also got Jay Bothroyd, David Healy and Lenny Kunt as freebies at the end of the season. Try Dean Windass for about 10k, he is old but can still bang them in for two seasons. Also big Trev is excellent, just sold him in my Hull game for 2.5M.

Proof that FM2005 is realistic; Iain Dowie is a prize bellend in the game too. We drew with Palarse 1-1 and afterwards he said in the media about how the confidence in his squad was sky high after his sides victory against me! Check the scoresheet again you TWAT! :shootself :tosser: :shit: :thud: :drunk: :bla:  :dunce:
