To Hull and Back lost on a boat in the north sea

Albert "Look Concorde!"
Del: "Yeah....and... ??" (hopeful it meant Albert had a way home)
Albert "Im just saying...look there goes concorde!"
Del then proceeds to strangle Albert!

Fuckin Brilliant and even I now when I watch I think its genius comedy that cannot be beaten!
(although not sure about the later episodes towards the end)

Nestling in green nowhere
Monty Python..A load of Public Schoolboys arsing about. OFAH...Aspirational Working Class humour...not really equivalents IMO so difficult to compare...both have their moments but OFAH has had me in stitches more.

I’ve always liked both – but the fact that Python is known all round the world and OFAH barely registers outside of the UK must say something.

What will you be watching this Xmas?

Are they the only two options for Xmas telly then?

Personally, there's only one thing I can guarantee I'll be watching on Xmas Day:

Was a bit bizarre when I was in the Mountains in Morocco and this Arab bloke in the middle of nowhere says to me "Lovely Jubbly" when he realised I was a Brit.

Odd.

Yet get it from the little kids trying to flog you postcards at Angkor Wat in Cambodia as well.
