I thought he played OK today and I was quite annoyed with fans slagging him off in B Block.

Let's all back him !

I'll feel a lot more confident once we have Henderson back though. In the last couple of games Chaigneau has made a lot of easy things look hard.

Very nervous beginning, but then pretty faultless. Magnificent save from point blank range from Stern John in the first half.

Then he didn't have much to do because we dominated the second half after McSheffrey's fine goal.

I would prefer Henderson as well but think he is OK - definitely a good back up keeper but fans should get behind him when he is picked as first choice.

Chaigneau will spill shots that Kuipers holds on to. He did ok today (one good reaction save in particular), but I am far, far more comfortable with the FDM between the sticks. I STILL don't see what the hell he has done wrong to lose his place.

I disagree. Henderson was pretty bad for his first half a dozen games but he settled in, Flo needs a chance and looks to me like he has great potential. He is tall and looks very athletic, reasonably safe hands and good distribution. I imagine his English isn't that great yet either so why don't people just give him a chance.

Speaking as a keeper it does take a few games to get up to scratch with a side. Wasn't nervous about him at all, thought his distribution was good barring his first slice and drop kick in the first half.

do we really need to spend 30k on another keeper with fdm and Chaigneau fit - surely money better spent elsewhere?

I agree. I don't think Henderson is that great.

It pains me to say this but I think FDM is still partially injured and may well struggle to ever regain the form he had.

Therefore Henderson is required.

No matter what the rights and wrongs of his selection are, I thought the cheers that went up when he was injured (BEFORE Kuipers started warming up) were a f***ing disgrace.

Very well said. That was appalling.

I double that. Typical Brighton supporters, cheering an injury to one of their own players because they fancy one more than him (and I don't mean fancy in a gay way).

Cant speak for every one i was cheering because FDM was applauding the fans cheering his name when he was warming up.

BUT he was doing that in response the the cheers, he did if fact look a bit embarressed, and I dont blame him, at the end of the day its not his or Shane-o's fault who is picked in goal

I was talking about the cheers that went up before FDM came out of the dougout.

Everytime we passed the ball back to him or a shot cam towards him, I always felt tense with him in goal.

Never felt that with Blayney.

Chaigneau's injury was his own bloody fault anyway. Once again he had a straightforward ball to gather, and once again he let it slither out of his grasp (as he did at Southampton a couple of times). That tempted the forward in to making a challenge, and frenchie got a kick as a result.

Learn to KEEP HOLD of that frigging white thing and everyones happy.

Ca-va ?
