What with all yesterdays doom and gloom I missed this gem from the papers........
If you don't fancy 'trawling' through the article (or if the link doesn't work), the story basically involves 51 year old David Watkins who was accused of trying to stuff a dead cod into a disruptive pupil's mouth.
The pupil, 11, was a troublemaker who had been expelled from two schools and had brought the cod to school presumably with the intention of causing mischief. He had accused Watkins of putting him in a headlock and trying to stuff the fish into his mouth. The magistrates threw the case out due to inconsistancies in the prosecution evidence.
