first hole in one on TV?

went to a quiz night last night, and the question was-

True or False- tony jacklin go the first televised hole in one.

the answer was true.

i was sure it was false as im positive it was Bruce Forsyth on a pro-celeb tournement on TV.

can anyone clarify this?.
