OK so Falmer was not really bad news, however, all funding for the West Pier restoration project has been withdrawn and it looks like the end for The Old Lady.......when will this madness end ?

I have to say that I am not entirely surprised about the West Pier decision. I was all for restoration until the recent collapse at the shore end. Now perhaps the City can look to the future and build something for the 21st Century. Ditto Falmer.

About the only cheerful aspect of the West Pier having its funding withdrawn is that now all the arses have to enter into a long drawn-out squabble over who's going to pay the several millions needed to demolish it. Sending the bill to the pikey criminals of the Ignoble Organisation would be a good start.
