Just come on BBC:

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is reported to have rejected an approach to take over as Chelsea boss during the summer.
The Manchester Evening News newspaper claims the United boss was contacted shortly after new Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich's arrival at Stamford Bridge.

The report was made just two days after Peter Kenyon left his role as Manchester United chief executive to take up a similar post at Stamford Bridge.

But Ferguson told the Manchester Evening News: "I am manager of Manchester United and it would be something absolutely catastrophic for me to leave the club.

"My whole life is Manchester United.

"When you become manager of this club you get woven into the fabric of the place."

Could be mind games. He wants to unsettle the Chelsea camp even more what with the Souness story. Ranieri's sure to be getting a bit nervous.

And i don't think he'd leave Manure at this stage in his career

I heard from a very reliable source that Martin Perry has turned down the job of Chief Executive of Manchester United.

He's not prepared to accept the salary drop. Apparently.

:lolol:

ZAHAVI: FERGUSON APPROACH 'NOT TRUE'

Football agent Pini Zahavi has denied any knowledge of Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich's reported approach to Sir Alex Ferguson.

It was claimed on Wednesday that the Manchester United manager was approached to become Chelsea's new boss shortly after Abramovich bought the London club.

But Zahavi, who helped Abramovich buy Chelsea, claims he is unaware of any move to lure Ferguson.

He told The Sun: "As far as I know the story is not at all true. There is not a lot more I can say about it."
