Hi Paul a few comments and feedback following yesterday game.

Trains. Is there to be seagull specials? Lots of us took the opportunity to use the rail option which to be frank was completely rammed both too and from the stadium. More carriages should be employed at peak times or people will be trying other means to get to the Amex which will cause problems for you in the future.
Once at the Falmer station egress is restrictive and leads to a bun fight getting off the platform. This created a real bottleneck which needs overcoming as it created a lot of pushing and shoving. It’s a shame as once cleared the bridge opens out allowing a quick and well thought out crossing over the lines for the numbers expected.
Then the amount of people allowed onto the platform for the trip back to Brighton was a safety issue. The platform and the train was overloaded to a dangerous amount, again only a four coach train at a peak away time, not the best plan and should be upgraded.
Ticket office. Why not have booths outside rather than ram the shop area for ticket collection? This took much too long and caused a few to lose their rag and have a bad experience even before they set foot in the place! With a few over 7000 it was chaos, when at capacity this is going to be a major problem. Also why print them at the point of collection it delayed it even more? Needs a rethink!
Bins. Not a single bin to dispose of any rubbish anywhere? Not a single fag stubb/bin. This made people throw all sorts of packaging all over the stadium and will mean the whole place will become a big mass of fag butts and rubbish in no time at all. I understand it’s probably fire safety (gone mad as usual) but give us a chance to get rid of out trash without throwing it on the ground. Thereafter what about recycling options in this green world?
Screens. You could make much more of them, bit of a waste at the moment, and put a countdown clock in under the score?
Food. Good pie though why not give people chicken when they want one instead of beef, god that kid was thick! And the burgers were cold and never had cheese!
Stewards. Nicely done, all calm and smiling even in the rain.
Finally. What a place to watch football, brilliant! The view was great, Gary Hart was fantastic and so deserved it. Nice to see Dick and Tony on the telly getting a deserved cheer. Humbled by the effort put in, thanks to you all.

Thanks for the feedback.

Trains - Southern Rail are already aware of the issues you outline.

Ticket office - yesterday's problems were mainly down to the large number of duplicates being issued. Once everyone has their Smartcards, including match-to-match buyers, there won't be so many issues with collections.

Bins - There are bins and cigarette butt bins, if you can't find one please ask a steward.

Screens - Yesterday was not a club event, so please do not judge on the content on display yesterday. For normal match days there will be pre-recorded Albion content, mixed with live presentation, aimed at getting the atmosphere going!

Food - Sorry about your experience. Re food, 89% of fans bought food, which exceeded everybody's expectations. The caterers have already re-worked the numbers on this and will endeavour to give a better service for the Spurs match onwards.

Stewards - Brilliant! Thanks.
