This may seem out of order and I may be completely wrong, but Fatboy has helped out financially many times in the past and has even been offered a seat on the board. However, whenever any mentions about 'celebrity' supporters putting money into the club, I have never heard anyone once say that Des has put some of his millions into the Albion.

I could be completely wrong, but if not, then I feel that it's about time that big Des starts to put his hand in his pocket aswell as the rest of us, to help save the club, rather than doing the odd voice over on the season DVD!

zzzzzzzzz blah blah, yes Des is on tele so it's probably only a matter of time before he remember that spare suitcase of cash he tucked away for a rainy day under his bed......... What planet do some people here on NSC live on?

I can afford £250 quid but that's not £2million quid is it?! This isn't exactly the 40 notes fund my friend.

Of course he's not going to say how much. People will think that he's either bragging or it isn't enough. It's one of those things - like saying how much you earn - it just isn't done.

He will donate quietly, I'm sure.

This board is in danger of losing any semblance of respectability it once may of had with threads like this. After all the moans re DK, MP, the commercial dept., Leon, Oatway, Mayo etc etc. Have we now resorted to knocking Des Lynam FFS? Des loves this club as much as anyone and has done more than most on here to help support it. I have no doubt that he has contributed financially but the figure is none of our business, just like it is none of your business to know how much I have (or haven't) donated.

Rant over

Why should Des donate? Maybe he isn't as big a fan of the club as the rest of you. Not everyone rates the club as highly in their opinons as a lot of people on NSC. For me, I love the club, but there are more important things in life.

I personally think that Des would have quietly given a very nice sum of money and then got on with things.

I agree, its personal choice, just because someone has monet it dosnt mean they should be expected to give to the albion. its personal choice.
