I'm listening to Talksport and he's on there saying he knew he was being set up and tried to take them along for a bit of a ride; reported them to the rozzers, blah, blah, blah.
Point is, having gone through what he's been through before, if he 'knew' he was being set up, why not just walk away?
Thus, no story, no need to justify himself.
Just seen Fash on Sky News with a clip of the film by that comic the News of the World.
Hmmm. Doesn't look too clever.
But he's filed a report to the police and seemed comfortable when interviewed, though.............
I suspect that this is similar to the Grobelaar case. They don't have enough proof to make a criminal charge stick, but there's too much doubt to risk suing for libel - Fash would have seen what happened to Brucie.
I guess he'll always have a bad name after this one...
