Fanzine Update - Please Read

Ok,

I am home from work now and sorting through everything I have got. Please rest assured it is coming along nicely. After advice from Ros, I am going to try and put a couple of pages on the net so you can see that it is being done.

Here is the list of what I have, if I have missed anything off that anyone else has then please email it to me at:

I will edit this list every time someone emails me something new so please keep an eye on it.

Sorry for the lack of communication regarding when articles were being sent to me.

I am meeting my friend again tomorrow evening to do some more so I will report back either tomorrow night or Friday morning depending on what time I get in.

I expect to have everything that I have recieved layed up by the end of Sunday and I will spend tonight working out how much space we still need to fill.

I am leaving 8 pages aside for adverts but if someone could help Del Boy with them that would be great.

Please rest assured it IS getting done.

With regards to the name I think it is important that we decide on a name soon and stick with it. I do not think there is anything wrong with calling it 'One F in Falmer' as people will recognise the name; it is still making the statement we wanted it to and it is going to contain a lot of information about Falmer. But at the same time I quite like 'Marvellous Scenes'.

I suggest we stick with 'One F in Falmer' and then change to 'Marvellous Scenes' or something else once a decision on the ground has been made. What does everyone else think?

I am going to compile the list and then will post it on here in a few minutes.

5. Im doing a bit called 'The kids are alright' about our new talent coming through

What I would especially like:
1. Biscuit, any chance of that Gerry Ryan Interview you mentioned?
2. Letters page, someone said they would have a go at this.
3. Some more info on Wrexham, perhaps a little bit about how you can help etc.
4. A few hundred words on one of the old fanzines.
5. A bit on Daniel Harding getting in the England squad.


What I am crossing my fingers for:
1. An interview with a player. The player in question is getting back to me tomorrow.

Looks ok to me mate. I forgot to mention your cartoons which I will make sure we put in to break up the text a bit and as page fillers.

Are you feeling any better about it all now? Sorry if Ive not been communicating enough and worrying you. The majority should be done by sunday night.

I think a bit on the REMF would be good as well. I can knock an article on it out quite quickly if needs be. Does everyone agree we should give it some coverage?

hmm...IF we have room do it, but no giant articles. We need little bite sized chunks! Also, Im not sure its that interesting. Maybe a little funny quotation would suit better.

ANyway, you had me worried but im feeling alot more relaxed about it all now.
