fans as a manager?

a great money spinning idea here ??

each week, vote for favourite seagulls fan to choose the team, etc - if the team wins, they stay on, otherwise a new vite is held-
fresh ideas all the time, calls cost 50p plus usual blah blah...

Believe it or not Dundee FC were planning to do something similar this season.
The Idea was that the fans could phone up or go on their website to vote for who they wanted in the side etc etc.
Not sure if it ever got off the ground.

There's a Finnish side who do something similar. In their case, the manager chooses the team but the fans choose when to make a substitution, who goes off and who goes on. They vote by text.

I wrote to Perry suggesting that the Albion do something similar for MotM as it could generate a bit of revenue for the club. We could also use the same system for votes such as who would be the best choice of manager.

I didn't get a reply from him which pissed me off a bit as I thought (and still think) it's an excellent idea. Sooner or later, some club will do something similar.

You can't copyright an idea unfortunatley but I am talking with someone about developing the idea commercially.
