Fancy dress - what should I wear?

I've been invited to a fancy dress party with a Scottish theme and I can't think what to wear.

I thought of carrying a wooden spoon but the host said that was a no-no.

My colleague says I should go in Albion shirt, with two women and start a fight and say I was Mad Dog Kennedy but that's a bit obscure.

Any other ideas?

I was thinking of going as Dr Jekyll if Mrs Gwylan would go as Mr Hyde
