Hate to be pedantic but that quote was attributed to Captain Titus Oates who left the other three and walked out of the tent to his death as he knew that his physical condition was slowing them down and thus reducing their chances of survival.

Actually, Oates's first names were Lawrence Edward Grace. Titus Oates was a rabble-rouser of the seventeenth century who forged evidence of a catholic conspiracy against the monarchy.

Tragically I've had serious problems with my Btopenworld broad band (don't bother they're crap) but as her ladyship is with me from the US I'm seriously thinking about taking her to Bounemouth and going in with the home fans. You're right though, I should get out more !
