with all the negative feelings on whether or not the club are being truthful with the fans, how many genuinely believe that Falmer is as near to being built as we are told, I don't want to seem negative but something I heard from the office at the Albion the other day makes me wonder, what do you think

When challenged about the delays to announcing the financial package Perry said it will all be revealed by then end of the year. Give him until then. If he has not delivered to his own, unenforced, deadline then start asking questions.

put up or shut up :)

I believe the club, but it wouldn't surprise me if there are further delays down the road.

I am told that the roadworks will start in December as planned but there is a major problem with the planning put in for, however this should be overcome but it will cause major delays on the proposed first game at Falmer, and there is definately a problem with the financing of the stadium, I apologise but I cannot reveal my source, you will just have to trust me on this one as I am not about to lose someone their job :censored:

Fair enough.........personally, with all that is going on in the financial world, I cannot possibly see how the finance could be raised. The continual "it's Ok because it has an educational purpose too" just doesn,t wash with me.

I'm really losing the will to even care about Falmer anymore after all this time and GUBBINS excuses/delays.

Work has already started at Falmer with the archaeology works clearing the way for Buckingham Group to take possession of the site on 1st December and start work with immediate effect. There is NO cause for panic and the club is not hiding anything from anyone.

Excellent news! So the finance is definitely secured then?

I don't know why people doubted it.

I went past Falmer today and there seemed to be a lot of plant on site (and I dont mean the green stuff). There was also a fair bit of dug ground and a sign saying Buckingham. Now I know there is a bit of uni building work going on but the areas that had work going on seemed a hell of a lot bigger than just a few uni buildings. The Buckingham sign also makes me think some prelim work has already started

edit. ok it took me half an hour inbetween starting this post and finishing it and I see I was right with what insider said :)
