Dunno if this has been covered elsewhere on the board today, but even if it has, I think it's funny enough to warrant repeating.
This is from todays Telegraph.
Thieves broke into Brighton' straining ground at Sussex University in Falmer recently and stole boots, kit bags, cash and all the players' clothes. All, that is, except those belonging to defender Adam Virgo, which were still hanging on his peg. Team-mate Nathan Jones was not surprised. "It just goes to show what horrendous clobber he possesses", he said, "that even a thief refused to take his gear. If I was the thief I would have left him few quid so he could get some new stuff."
