Falmer - Shouldn't we be doing something?

Got something to say or just want fewer pesky ads? Join us... 😊

I think the next big push is likely to come when the Labour Party Conference arrives in town. Conversations are currently taking place with the authorities and plans will be announced at the end of August.

As for letter writing, there's not much to say at the moment. And no-one to say it to.

The key message is that Falmer is the ONLY site. If people are saying different - especially Albion fans - we need to put them right.

I've been thinking the same thing. It's all very well keeping the faith but the NIMBYs are in full stride and hogging the Argus letters page and clearly have SCR's support. May not seem much but how much new support is this gaining for them?

Meanwhile, we are twiddling our thumbs and it's all gone very quiet from Falmer For All.

It all feels a bit anti-climactic following the announcement.

I agree but I thought that it was the policy of the BBC to 'sit on the fence' on political issues and not be seen to favour any particular view.

Perhaps we should all phone in on Ian Harts phone in on SCR and push the point yet once again.

So basically free license to have a go at randoms. Cool.
