Thumping beats prior to kick-off at Dean Court today didn't help to generate an atmosphere; to the contrary, it completely drowned out the valiant efforts of the travelling support! I hope we will keep the music relatively subdued at the Amex.
Agree, I would much rather hear the fans build up the atmosphere.

Mmmmmm, I've always fancied this at some point at the start at Falmer. With a longer intro. Perhaps to a timelapse of the stadium going through construction on the big screen. Not to replace GOSBTS, BTW.

We wanted the stadium there the local didn't and fought against it and lost, it over lets move on and get on with them like we have done with those at The Withdean, they didn't want us there to start with, but there was no reason to go out and antagonise them.

The nosy neighbours stuck their lewes district council noses in land and planning issues that belonged to brighton and had f*** all to do with them,they cost us 9 years at withdean,cost Tony Bloom a £70,000,000 in increase in build from the origional cost projection, cost Dick Knight control of the club and cost ordinary Poll Tax payers f*** knows how many £millions in lawyer fees.

Most of what he says is not far from the truth. Without LDC and their campaign of lies we'd have been in The Amex years ago. It would have saved Tony Bloom millions, millions that may have been invested in the team. Still, what's a few (unnecessary) years at Withdean between neighbours?

What about if the locals can still affect you? Who 'wins' if you move into a new house and maintain a grudge with your neighbours and watch them for any and every wrong move?
